Camp Lucy is such an amazing and unique place to visit! Just outside of Dripping Springs, on a beautiful Hill Country ranch, Camp Lucy titles itself as “the ultimate luxury getaway.” The resort features a breathtaking grounds, a beautiful pool and even it’s very own vineyard! Camp Lucy also has its very own restaurant, the renowned Tillie’s. Tillie’s has so much to offer, from unique cocktails featuring dripping springs vodka, to a wonderful array of starters, your tastebuds will love it!

One cool thing about Camp Lucy is that the property has a diverse collection of heritage buildings, some from 18th century Asia and others with ties to the Underground Railroad in the 1800s. The heart of the resort, Ian’s chapel, was a Catholic Church set to be torn down in Vietnam when it was purchased shipped to Dripping Springs in 2008 by Camp Lucy founder, Whit Hanks.

Proposal sessions are not easy. Tristian had reached out to me in the process of planning his big SURPRISE and offered how difficult it was to keep the surprise from Marina. His secret was keeping as few people in the loop as possible to ensure no one accidentally let it out. He didn’t even tell Marina’s mom about the specifics, instead relying on her best friend to subtly pursued her into all the little details, like getting her nails done and packing the right things. Marina was so shocked when he did get down on one knee, later exclaiming it explained his pushiness on getting to dinner on time.
