Boerne Senior Photography | Izzy

As a Boerne Samuel V. Champion High School grad, Boerne senior sessions are extra special to me! I still remember my own senior photo session done right on Main Street.

There are so many great locations around Boerne for your senior photography session. From Joshua Springs Park and Preserve, where the lovely Izzy chose to do her photos, to somewhere downtown, like the Pearl Brewery or Botanical gardens. Some other fun Boerne centered locations include the Boerne Lake, the Guadalupe, Cibolo Nature Center or even around your favorite shops in Boerne! (Hello, the Dienger, Richter, Boerne Bookshop and even Flashbacks Funtiques!)

I always recommend you think about the vibe for your senior photos before you pick a location! Do you want something modern or classic? Do you want chill or celebratory? Figuring out your vision for your perfect photos helps to create the perfect experience! It also can help us brainstorm on any props to bring.

Some popular photography “props” for senior girls include: a bouquet of flowers, a pink cap and gown, and sparkling cider! For senior boys, I always recommend: your jersey/letterman, your car, or your sport ball/equipment. Some fun options for all graduates are: confetti with your high school or college colors, a collage T or flag, your pet or high school cap and gown. What ever it is, make sure it is special to you! We want these photos to represent who YOU are!

I always recommend seniors plan on bringing a few outfits: 1 - formal, 1 - casual and 1- fun! For senior boy graduates this can look like a suit/jacket, jeans and a college tee and jeans and a funky button up. For senior girls it usually ends up a white dress, jeans and a blouse and a funky, fun dress. But you can mix it up however you want!
