Boerne Engagement Photography | the Niemic’s

My favorite couples sessions are the ones that seem to last forever!

Then Niemic’s wanted to celebrate their more artsy and intellectual love with something different than the typical hill country vibe, Which led us to the creation of this amazing session! Having met in their college library, we thought it would be perfect to start the session at the Boerne bookstore linked here! I had never thought of a book store as a location for a session, but now I am obsessed. The photos of them strumming through the books wrapped in each others arms, sneaking glances from behind covers, and even flipping through the pages together are so perfect! The bookstore has such a lovely, quiet vibe! I will defiantly have to go back and look through their extensive collection soon. They have a lovely breezeway just outside, perfect to settle in and read all you new finds.

We then headed to the Dienger Trading co, linked here, following in true to the couples love story, and one of my all time favorite couple stories. They met in the library just before break, during finals week and didn’t have a chance to talk long. Nicolas remembered Chelsea mentioning she frequented a specific coffee shop in College Station, And when he returned to school the next semester he knew he had to find her. So he found himself frequenting that same coffee shop, hoping to catch her again. And his plan worked! The Dienger also has some of the best food in Boerne! You can find my fiancé and I here At least once a week, You really can’t go wrong with their chocolate chip pancakes or their tomato basil soup! They have indoor and outdoor seating (so you can bring the pups!). Be sure to check out their boutique, for all their photo ready outfits!

We then made our way down the street to the Richter Boerne, linked here, for some fun drinks at the 1920s industrial-themed bar and restaurant. They have custom cocktails, margaritas, martinis, and ice-cold beer. Be sure to check out their Texas sized cinnamon rolls, they are bigger than you face! This was the perfect spot, as it is their nightly ritual for Nicolas to make them each a cocktail after dinner!

We finished off our session at the wonderful Cibolo Nature Center, linked here, with the most beautiful picnic. I have been debating requiring a picnic for everyone of my sessions now, as this was the most sweet and beautiful way to end the session! From them setting it up together, to enjoying some cheese and wine, playing their favorite game and even snuggling up to read a book they got at the bookstore, I am not sure which photos are my favorite. It can be so fun to bring personal items, whether they are favorite books, blankets, drinks, etc! They help to add a unique touch ro every session!

Here are a few more photos of the session and a link to more galleries! Ready to book? Fill out my contact form here!
